Admissions & Academic Support Officer
Westbridge International School | Belgrade
Westbridge International School is seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised Admissions & Academic Support Officer to join our growing team.
This is a key student and parent-facing role combining admissions, student support and ongoing academic coordination throughout the school year.
The successful candidate will be one of the first points of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the admissions and enrolment process. Following enrolment, they will continue to support students and parents throughout the academic year, acting as an important link between families, teachers and school management.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrolment
Respond to admissions enquiries by phone, email and in person
Present Westbridge International School and its academic programmes to prospective families
Organise and conduct school tours and admissions meetings
Guide families through the application and enrolment process
Follow up with prospective families throughout the admissions journey
Collect, check and maintain student documentation and admissions records
Coordinate the onboarding of new students and families
Academic & Student Support
- Act as a regular point of contact for parents regarding students' academic matters
- Support students throughout the school year with academic organisation and school procedures
- Monitor students' academic progress, attendance and relevant school records
- Follow up with students, parents and teachers when academic or attendance concerns arise
- Maintain regular communication with teachers regarding student progress
- Coordinate parent-teacher communication and meetings when required
- Assist families in understanding academic expectations, assessments, reporting and school procedures
- Support students joining the school during the academic year and facilitate their successful integration
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Candidate Requirements
- Previous professional experience in an international school is mandatory
- Candidates without previous international school experience will not be considered
- Strong understanding of the structure, expectations and day-to-day operations of an international school environment
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Serbian language proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, warm and confident communication with parents and students
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students and families
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Proactive, reliable and responsible approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, deadlines and follow-ups independently
- Experience with the Cambridge International curriculum would be considered a strong advantage.
