Office location: Spanskih boraca, Belgrade – Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

About the role and the Team:

Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing billing operations and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, from order validation through invoicing to payment processing. The role manages billing systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities include maintaining billing accuracy, driving process improvements, managing system enhancements, resolving billing issues, and collaborating with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to optimize revenue realization and KPI monitoring.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, ensuring accurate and timely order processing, invoicing, and payment processing
• Lead daily billing operations to ensure invoices are generated accurately, delivered on time, and comply with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Own and maintain billing systems, driving system enhancements, issue resolution, and process optimization
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve billing processes, controls, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure the integrity of billing data and compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and audit requirements
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve billing issues and support seamless customer transactions
• Monitor billing performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve revenue realization, cash flow, and customer experience
• Manage billing escalations, customer disputes, and complex invoicing requirements in a timely and professional manner
• Support business transformation initiatives, including system implementations, process automation, and O2C improvement projects
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to billing team members to drive high performance and continuous development
• Support companywide projects in the domain of billing, provide timely requirements and use cases, and support the team during the pre-project release phase and post-project release
• Ensure operational quality and completeness of the billing function through daily billing checks, incident management, and system updates and improvement efforts
• Ensure accounting completeness and accuracy related to customer billing

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Economics, Business Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, billing, or financial operations
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Tableau or other BI tools; SAP knowledge is desirable
• Experience working in international or geographically dispersed teams
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a logical and structured approach to work and problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Resilient and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
