DISPATCHER – U.S. TRUCKING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and coordinate a fleet of 5–7 trucks efficiently and independently, ensuring each truck is properly utilized and     consistently managed.
• Coordinate daily communication with brokers, drivers, shippers, and receivers.
• Book freight and plan efficient and profitable routes based on truck location, availability, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor shipments in real time and provide proactive updates throughout the entire transportation process.
• Track each truck closely and maintain full awareness of its location, status, ETA, appointment times, and next available time.
• Negotiate freight rates, accessorials, and transportation terms with brokers.
• Monitor the gross revenue generated by each truck and make informed booking decisions to maximize truck productivity   and revenue.
• Handle the complete dispatch process from load booking and pickup through delivery and POD submission.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise on the road, including delays, breakdowns, appointment changes,   detention, layovers, TONU, traffic, weather, equipment issues, and other unexpected situations.
• Take ownership of problems and communicate with the appropriate parties to find solutions quickly rather than waiting for   someone else to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate records in dispatch, tracking, and transportation management systems.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Accounting, Safety, and Track & Trace.
• Maintain professional relationships with brokers and drivers while protecting the company's interests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of active, hands-on experience as a Dispatcher in the U.S. trucking industry.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. trucking and freight market.
• Ability to effectively manage 5–7 trucks simultaneously without losing track of details or deadlines.
• Proven ability to independently handle the full dispatch process and manage issues that may arise during transportation.
• Active and proactive work approach — able to anticipate problems, take initiative, and act without constant supervision.
• Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with Owner-Operators and professional drivers.
• Ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions when situations change.
• Basic understanding of truck profitability, gross revenue, rate per mile, and efficient truck utilization.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability for assigned trucks and loads.

As a member of our Dispatch team, you will be responsible for managing your assigned trucks from booking to delivery. You will work directly with the U.S. freight market, communicate daily with brokers and drivers, negotiate rates, track shipments, monitor truck performance, and handle the challenges that naturally come with operating on the road.

We are looking for dispatchers who are active, responsible, and solution-oriented — people who do not simply wait for instructions when a problem occurs. A successful dispatcher should be able to recognize what needs to be done, take initiative, communicate effectively, and follow the situation through until it is resolved.

You will also be expected to understand the performance of your assigned trucks, including daily and weekly gross revenue, truck utilization, available hours, and upcoming opportunities, and make booking decisions accordingly.

NOTE

Please apply only if you have a minimum of 1 year of active, hands-on experience working as a Dispatcher in the U.S. trucking industry.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have hands-on experience managing trucks independently and are comfortable handling the full range of situations that can arise during transportation.
