What You'll Do

As a Fiat Payments Agent, you'll be responsible for investigating and resolving customer payment-related issues, including deposits, withdrawals, failed transactions and other payment processing queries.

You'll monitor and analyze transactions, work with payment providers and internal teams and ensure that each case is handled accurately and efficiently while following established procedures and quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to fiat deposits and withdrawals.
• Monitor and analyze payment transactions and their statuses.
• Investigate failed, pending, delayed, or reversed transactions and determine the appropriate resolution.
• Review payment provider responses and investigate transaction discrepancies.
• Assist customers with payment-related queries and provide clear and accurate information.
• Identify and investigate payment-related risks, including suspicious transactions and potential fraud cases.
• Collaborate closely with Payment Operations, Fraud, Compliance and Customer Support teams to resolve cases efficiently.
• Escalate complex or sensitive payment cases to the relevant teams when necessary.
• Ensure all cases are handled within agreed SLAs and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of cases, investigations and resolutions.
• Follow established internal procedures and payment processes.
• Stay up to date with payment processes, internal tools, procedures and relevant changes.
• Contribute ideas and observations that can help improve payment operations and the overall customer experience.

• Ability to learn new tools, processes and technologies quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
• Strong team spirit and willingness to collaborate across different departments.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using online systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services or customer operations.
• Understanding of payment flows and the transaction lifecycle.
• Experience investigating deposits, withdrawals or other payment transactions.
• Familiarity with payment service providers and payment processing systems.
• Basic understanding of fraud prevention, risk and compliance processes.
• Experience working with customer support or case management platforms.
• Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack and Intercom.
• Basic knowledge of cryptocurrencies and digital payments.
