About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Controlling Officer who will take ownership of daily financial operations, and support management with financial insights.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgrade.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including reconciliations and transaction tracking
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports (monthly and quarterly)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Work closely with external accountants and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Monitor discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies
• Communicate with banks and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal financial procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting / finance / controlling
• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
• Good level of English (written and spoken)
• High attention to detail and structured way of working

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech / international environment
• Experience working with external partners
• Experience with accounting software
