Electronic Instruments – a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of advanced analytical, test and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical and industrial markets.
Electromechanical – a differentiated supplier of automation and precision motion control solutions, and highly engineered electrical interconnects, specialty metals and thermal management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather invoices from 3rd party suppliers, gain approval for those invoices and ensure proper booking, either semi-manually (e.g. with the help of UiPath) or manually
- Be the first level of contact for any finance-related question from 3rd party suppliers
- Prepare and monitor execution of payment to 3rd party suppliers, customers’ refunds and payment to intercompany partners
- Book all cash entries except incoming cash from customers
- Prepare bank accounts monthly reconciliations
- In coordination with Finance controller, monitor and adjust monthly positions of: suppliers’ accruals, prepaid expenses, miscellaneous debtors and creditors
- Book fixed assets’ acquisitions upon occurrence, and run monthly depreciation batch
- In coordination with Finance controller, compute and book VAT entries
- Be involved in balance sheet accounts’ supporting documentation update, monthly
- Compute DSO, prepare Accounts Receivable reports to send to Business Units, monthly
- Be involved in monitoring fiscal compliance on your scope
- Be involved in external or internal audits, when applicable (statutory audit, internal SOX audit, fiscal or social controls)
- Prepare and book some adjustments from French GAAP to US GAAP, on your scope (e.g. reclassification/split of some positions into multiple US GAAP accounts)
Position Requirements:
- Graduated in Finance, Accounting or Audit
- 3-5 years of experience
- Fast and accurate execution of bookings and reporting.
- Autonomous in controlling bookings and reports.
- Bilingual in English, basic knowledge in French is a plus.
- Key IT tools in place: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 19 (ERP), Excel, UiPath.
- Demonstrated interest and practical ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work while applying good judgment and responsible use
- Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled ways of working and proactively identifying opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact in daily activities
