After-Hours Operations Specialist (US Trucking)
Location: Novi Sad (Office Position)
We are looking for an experienced and reliable After-Hours Operations Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with previous US trucking experience who can work independently, communicate effectively, and handle urgent situations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Track & Trace Support
- Monitor active loads and truck status during overnight operations.
- Communicate with drivers and brokers to provide load updates.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or service issues.
- Maintain accurate load notes and operational updates in internal systems.
Driver Support & Breakdowns
- Answer after-hours calls from drivers and provide operational support.
- Handle breakdown situations by collecting photos and issue details.
- Troubleshoot problems remotely whenever possible.
- Coordinate roadside assistance or direct drivers to the nearest repair facility.
- Collect and organize repair invoices, photos, and supporting documentation.
EFS & Operational Payments
- Issue EFS codes for approved expenses (repairs, lumpers, tires, etc.).
- Collect receipts and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
- Maintain accurate records of after-hours operational expenses.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in an after-hours operations, driver support, dispatch, or logistics role.
Previous US trucking industry experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
Proficiency with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
