Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries while ensuring the accuracy of financial data
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities
- Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit processes
- Contribute to process improvements and accounting system optimization initiatives
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation completed or in progress is considered a strong asset
- Relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or corporate finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interest and practical ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work while applying good judgment and responsible use
- Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled ways of working and proactively identifying opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact in daily activities
