Position Overview
As our Truck Driver Dispatcher, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, coordinating and managing our fleet of drivers. Your expertise will help maintain efficiency and keep our business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively dispatch drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Monitor driver locations and communicate with them throughout their routes.
- Manage and optimize routes to ensure efficiency and reduce delays.
- Provide support for drivers, addressing their concerns and needs promptly.
- Maintain an organized scheduling system to track driver availability and loads.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in the trucking industry.
- Familiarity with dry van trailer operations and logistics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Problem-solving attitude and capability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
